Blizzard of 2010 set to dump 16 inches of Snow in Central Park 


The big blow of 2010 set to arrive at around noon today, with the bulk of the massive snow storm will hitting this afternoon. Snow should continue falling steadily until just after dawn tomorrow.


Break out the shovels and driveway salt the big blow is on the way .The blizzard of 2010 that could dump as much as 16 inches of snow is expected to slam the city starting this afternoon. Forecasters are predicting the Nor'easter will drop at least 11 inches of the white stuff in Central Park and across the metropolitan area, with more than a foot possible in interior Connecticut.


According to AccuWeather New York City is look at sustained winds at 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 50mph.Continental Airlines has already canceled 250 flights from Newark Airport and United canceled more than 60 from around the region.


The strong winds could put visibility to near zero at times, making white-out driving conditions especially late in the day.Power lines, tree limbs and Christmas decorations all laden with snow and ice can also create major hazards.

State Senate dropped S2239 "Obamacare" from the docket.

State Senate dropped S2239 "Obamacare" from the docket.

The efforts to put the Obamacare wheels in motion were put to a dead stop here in New Jersey.

Last week the NJ State Senate was prepared to vote on Bill S2239. This measure would have put the government takeover of your health care on the fast track in New Jersey, establishing our state’s very first Obamacare bureaucracy; the NJ Health Care Reform Implementation Council.

The NJ Health Care Reform Implementation Council would consist of representatives from various far left groups, including the liberal AARP and the most radical public sector union of them all the SEIU.

Public outrage has since forced the New Jersey Senate to drop S2239 from it's docket.
